It’s time for the second installation of my DMA recitals and I’ve programmed an awesome/hellish concert of late 20th C canonic violin repertoire. I’ll be screeching through renditions of solo repertoire by Ferneyhough, Saariaho, Barrett and Lim before the incomparable Graeme Jennings joins me for a performance of Nono’s stunning violin duo.

In between sets you may have the pleasure of hearing a performance by the Queensland Conservatorium New Music Ensemble, so even if violin music isn’t your thing, you should probably come along.
